Search for Published Research

  • Grammarly – a very useful spelling and grammar checking service. The free version finds a lot of common errors, and it is well worth paying for a month subscription when writing the final version of your report.

Figures and flowcharts

  • Gliffy – draw flowcharts and class diagrams online.
  • – another tool for drawing flowcharts online.

Project planning

  • Project Plan 365 – online project planning tool. Create tasks, timelines, deadlines and Gantt charts.
  • Gantter – Free cloud-based project planning and scheduling tool. Especially useful for online collaboration.

  • Emaze – create presentations online. Many features (some cost money though)
  • Prezi – create presentations online. Lots of animations and visual features. It is generally difficult to make good presentations using Prezi, and it is not recommended for thesis presentations.
