The course is given at quarter speed and the total effort is 80 hours.
For HT, the course starts week 42 and ends week 49.
For VT, the course starts around week 15 and ends around week 24 (to be announced).

 

Preparations

Course Introduction

• Obtain a student account and register for the course. See lnu.se/student/ny-student for instructions.
• Sign up for the Slack channel #4DV117, which is the main communication channel with the teaching staff

Workshop 1

• Before the workshop you should have watched lectures 1 to 4 and have read the corresponding chapters in the course literature
• Bring a laptop to the workshop where you can install Weka, R and Scikit-learn
• Prepare questions (if you have any) on the contents in lectures 1 to 4

Workshop 2

• Before the workshop you should have watched lectures 5 to 8 and have read the corresponding chapters in the course literature
• Bring a laptop to the workshop where you can install TensorFlow and Keras
• Prepare questions (if you have any) on the contents in lectures 5 to 8
